The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has allowed residents to verify their mobile numbers and email IDs seeded with their Aadhaar. This feature has been developed to help residents confirm that the email\/mobile number under their knowledge is the one that is linked to their Aadhaar. It also informs them in case a particular mobile number is not linked and advises them to take necessary steps to update the mobile number, if they wish to do so. This feature can be accessed through the official website (https:\/\/myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in\/<\/a>) or through the mAadhaar app. If a resident wants to link or update their email\/mobile number, they may visit the nearest Aadhaar center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents can now verify their mobile numbers and email IDs associated with their Aadhaar through a new feature introduced by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). This was implemented due to some residents being unsure of which mobile number was linked to their Aadhaar and fearing that their Aadhaar OTP may be sent to a different number. This new facility, accessible through the official website (https:\/\/myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in\/) or mAadhaar app, allows residents to verify that their own email\/mobile number is linked to their Aadhaar. It provides confirmation to residents that their email\/mobile number is correctly seeded, and alerts them if a particular mobile number is not linked, with instructions to update it if necessary. For mobile numbers that are already verified, a message indicating this will be displayed on the resident’s screen. In the case where a resident does not remember their enrolled mobile number, they can check the last three digits of the number on the Verify Aadhaar feature on the Myaadhaar portal or mAadhaar app. Residents wishing to link or update their email\/mobile number can visit the nearest Aadhaar center for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
